NS2P Chris Paul
Chris says I'm still a new guy in Amateur Radio. Originally got involved to assist with emergency comm for local CERT group and RACES group. He says he was a repeater rat for several years and finally got busy and knocked out his General and Extra class in a couple months. Right now all HF is on his Kenwood TS530S - He says I figure if I can learn to use that beast, I can learn and use anything. Current antenna is a multi-band inverted V - only about 25 feet in the air. He is now the Emergency Coordinator for a brand new ARES group in his community and he is looking for members!

Chris is very interested in QRP as he love the outdoors and hunting - and has built a Rock Mite 40 - but still needs to learn code! He says "I'm trying!"
Chris says I'm a 5th generation Texan, Marine Corps Veteran (Semper Fi!), and in the investment business. Married for 27 years - but she'll tell you it's still day-to-day. He says he is blessed with two college aged kids. He also says That means no cash for the latest and greatest rigs! Chris is also a Texas Concealed Handgun License Instructor and a NRA Certified Instructor. He says he looks forward to meeting you on the air - 73!
