Harold Kramer as been a Amateur Radio operator (ham) since 1962. His Novice call sign back then was KN1ZCK and he  also held the call WA1JLY. About WJ!B Harold's  station.  

   Harold is the the Chief Operating Officer of the ARRL and the Publisher of QST and QEX magazines. The ARRL, the national association for Amateur Radio, is located in Newington, Connecticut.  Harold writes the monthly Inside HQ column in QST magazine.  Prior to joining the ARRL in 2005, Harold worked in the cable television and broadcast industries.      Harold holds an Amateur Radio Extra Class License and an FCC GROL Commercial License. Harold is currently an ARRL Official Emergency Station (OES), an ARRL Volunteer Examiner, a Diamond Club member, and an ARRL Life Member. He was formerly an Emergency Coordinator (EC) for the ARRL in South Central Connecticut.  He usually operate CW, PSK-31, RTTY, JT-65, or JT-9 on the 80, 40, 20,15,17, 12, and 10 meter bands.  He also collects telegraph keys and telegraphic apparatus.
